Episode 66: Creating Art for Joy and Well-Being with Durba Sen

Ricky B Season 2 Episode 66

Durba is an artist that lives and creates in the Mission San Jose District of Fremont. She had her first experience with art as a child in India; but like many others like her, she pursued another direction in her early adult years. However, as a young adult, she rediscovered her love of art through the encouragement of her husband and a teacher she visited in India.

Today, Durba creates with various mediums and even offers art lessons for local children. She enjoys geometric abstract painting. She feels that it has help to ground her as she, like many, has tried to navigate the challenges of life in recent years.
