The Bay Philharmonic is headquartered in Fremont; but it was previously called the Fremont Symphony. As it has developed over the last 55+ years, it has grown from a community symphony to a full blown professional symphony orchestra.
In this episode, we talk with Barett Hoover, the Executive Director, and Jung-Ho Pak, the Conductor. We discuss the significance of a symphony orchestra and what it is and represents. As the vision for the Bay Philharmonic is being reimagined, Barett and Jung-Ho shared some of the things that are guiding them and steering their vision forward. They are embracing the opportunity to provide more than just a concert; but rather, producing a show that can be enjoyed by everyone on many levels.
