Ricky B Season 1 Episode 25

This year marks the 225th Anniversary of the Mission San Jose that is referred to as the "Seed of Fremont." It is a historical landmark filled with rich and complicated history, but it is perhaps the primary reason that Fremont is the city that it is today.

June 11th, each year, activities are planned to commemorate "Founder's Weekend," but this year is a special year. And it is being commemorated with activities, special guests and various vendors.

To learn more about the activities and the anniversary commemoration, you can start by listening to this episode; but you can also go to mission225.org for all the details. This is going to be an event for the whole family that you should add to your calendar.

A new report that has come out at the beginning of March stating that Fremont is still the "Happiest City in America." Wallet Hub gave Fremont that title in 2021 and it has now been repeated for 2022.
