So I consider myself a woodturner At the present time because we're building our new headquarters building. Many of our staff have relocated here and growing up I never saw her take a break for anything. But when I had my child my mental state was different. If you go to Comic-Con, there's an artist alley where a bunch of independent artists make themselves their own little posters and cards or whatever of their own. We just went to the local sports hall, and by that I mean like old school Swedish gymnasium, kind of freezing cold. We actually capped that off with a bike ride from Fremont to Lake Tahoe.
Speaker 1:I would get up like at 9 am, 8.30 am, 9 am just to watch the Academy Awards, and I used to think like, yeah, one day I'm going to be there and I'll pretend I'm going to be there and I'll pretend I'm going to be in the seats. I did, and it turns out I was applying for the real librarian job. The only time there's quote-unquote tourists is for the fiestas. So when they have something specific they're celebrating. That's when people come from all parts of the people. The majority of those parents are hearing and so their deaf child is the first deaf person they're meeting. They're learning about deaf culture and sign language, and they learn a lot of that through the school for the deaf at Fremont, at my desk, fully awake and aware by seven, just so I can catch yeah, all that and so, and then I'm. I'm usually here until about five, five, 30, maybe six.
Speaker 1:Hello everybody, the newest season of the Fremont podcast is coming up inside of this month. There will be a new episode on Friday, august 23rd, and there will be another new episode on August 30th. After that, there is a very high chance that you are hearing this because you have your podcast app automatically downloaded and not because we're promoting the heck out of it. So thank you for continuing to listen to the Fremont podcast and having it be part of your download feed. We've noticed online that not everybody knows that Fremont even has a podcast, so if you could do us the small favor of telling every single person that you've ever met in your entire life, that would be great. Thank you.
